“If we play our cards right,” says Bob Goff “No one will ever know about some of the most loving things we’ve ever done.”
When we treat others with love and kindness it warms even the coldest of hearts. It chisels and chips away at barriers that tend to isolate us within polarizing world views. And when we intentionally show others kindness and love, it changes us, too.
A former pastor of mine put it this way – “It’s easier to act yourself into a new way of thinking than it is to think yourself into a new way of acting.
Today, as you think about the people in your life whom you love, whether a spouse, child, parent or galentine, remember that the action of DOING kindness and DOING love can change your attitude and your heart. Not only that, the ripples of those actions change the communities in which we all live.
“So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.”
Galatians 6:10
